take a stroll down Bedford and you’re sure to see the recognizable pink bags with white lettering draped delicately over a few arms. or even better – girls donning their latest vintage purchase from Awoke Vintage (and yes, it probably has pockets too!). while the store is heavily curated, it rides the line perfectly between a thrift store and a vintage store. the buying team prioritizes look over label, which explains the large variety of pieces – graphic tees, to a designer dress your mom rocked in the 90’s, to the leather bomber Zara just ripped off. aside from clothing, their offering includes sunnies (i get all mine here, they are the best!), handbags, hair accessories, jewelry and more. whether you’re trying to grow your vintage crewneck collection at a decent price or get papped by Watching New York, Awoke Vintage is well worth the stop.
