All About my Microlocs

I can do a post later about how they actually started ; but FACTOS about my LOCS

-I have microlocs

-my install was July 17. 2020 so my babies are 4yrz +

-I have never officially counted my locs

-I started with two strand twists

-I use the palm roll method to Retwist

-Current length is bra strap

-I use Shea butter to Retwist my locs

-Lots of my locs are married, some I combined

- one of my favorite parts about having locs is that I get to use them as a prop when dancing. I be sexc 😭

-I Retwist my locs once a month and refresh the front when needed. (I have a TikTok video on this)

-I wash my hair once a month

-I have never used permanent color on my locs

-Having microlocs allows me to do so many different styles! But now that my hair is longer I just like to wear it down. I’ve always wanted long hair.

-pigtails are a fan favorite!

-I use a satin wrap scarf and bonnet for bed! I almost never go to bed without it!

-I don’t oil my scalp as much as I used to but do what’s best for you!
