To all the rings I loved before 💍

Designing my own engagement ring was not something I had on my 2022 bingo card, tbh.

I was very firm that I wanted an Asscher Solitaire but imagine my SEVERE DISAPPOINTMENT when I find out it looked awful on my own hand.

To be frank, there were no other ring contenders until I stepped foot in KatKim.

In fact, elements of each of these rings made it into into my final ring.

The Trillion: I was FIENDING for a Trillion cut diamond. Even though I was in love with them, I ultimately decided it wasn’t the shape for me. However, this pave is what I kept. It’s triple pave so you can see it from every side.

The Trace: I wanted to love this but I realized that the pear was for me. I think this design was too much for me but the slight tilt of the pear was *chefs kiss*

The Cosma: love it but I don’t love it for me. This is partially where I got the bezel from.

I think it’s helpful to try a variety of shapes and styles to really nail down what you want. I never thought I’d walk out with a toi ear moi yet here I am 🥹🥹💎💎💎💎
