Church Ministry Isn’t Glamorous

“Everyone wants revival. No one wants to do the dishes”

Church ministry doesn’t always look like revival, Bible studies and worship music. Sometimes it looks like hours of prepping food, setting up tables and chairs, and washing dishes after a church event. We will miss out on the growth and transformation God offers when we neglect the ordinary tasks — doing the dishes, prepping a meal, praying for enemies, reading the Bible. Revival starts with the individual, and usually it looks like selfless moments that no one sees that make us more holy.
