At home silk press

Hey y’all,

I tied to do a silk press at home for the first time after my big chop in January. I had locs before my big chop and this is my first time putting heat to my hair in maybe 2 years. I used the design essential silk press product line (great products btw) and I also used the babyliss pro nano titanium flat irons on 300 degree (which is very good flat iron) to flat iron my hair. My hair didn’t turn out like I expected it to but that’s okay. I feel like this journey is going to be very interesting but my goal is to have really long flawless hair. Growing up I never had long hair past my shoulder so that’s what I’m aiming for. I do plan on getting a trim and a sew-in in September for some help on growth.
