how I wash my brushes

today I’m going to be washing my brushes 🫶🏽

I first start off by making sure they are all wet!

The soap I like to use is dawn! I find that this is the best soap to get all the oils and makeup off the brushes! It’s also doesn’t harsh my skin!

I add some soap to the brushes, making sure they are evenly coated in it! This is scrub all the brushes, making sure to do them one at a time.

I’m also surprised on how much makeup is on them 😅 I redo and apply more soap till the water runs clear!

After all of them are done I give them a final rinse. You really want to make sure all the soap is off the brushes. I take my time doing this step!!

Lastly I pat them dry on a clean towel. I personally like to let them air dry overnight. I don’t like to use a blow dryer, I find it damages the brushes!!
