what is bionic reading?

It’s no secret that attention and overwhelm are two common struggles for someone with ADHD.

While some (with ADHD) have no problem reading and keeping their attention to the material, some significantly struggle and either avoid reading, or have to dedicate a chunk of time to reading and re reading the text.

Bionic Reading is when certain parts of the text are highlighted or bolded so that the person reading can scan quickly through, but still absorb the main idea of the material.
