Yeah, that applies to everything in our lives when you have ADHD.
Planners are great. Planners are marvelous. I have 3.
And. Say it with me now…
THEY ARE NOT ENOUGH.
We write said to do’s in our planner and then we set our planner down or we shut our planner.
Then what?
We forget, that’s what.
We forget appointments, our AM/PM routines, friend meet-ups, you name it.
So what can help?
Well, each ADHDer is different, but from personal experience and heavy research, the more visuals + reminders, the better.
Have visuals on your wall reminding you of your AM/PM routine.
Text yourself reminders.
FB message yourself reminders.
Set alarms.
Use sticky notes.
Tell your partner.
