However, there's a capped of monthly cashback rewards, which once reached, any expenses beyond the limit will not be rewarded. Some cashback cards may require minimum monthly spending, which can be stressful for people with inconsistent expenses. Additionally, there's some cashback cards that offer a mere rate of 0.25% for categories that are not listed in the card's specified categories 😔

Miles cards

✔️ Gives ~ 6.80% to 20% of cashback value

✔️ Earn up to 6 miles per dollar for certain cards 😱

✔️ Free lounge access, airport transfer and travel insurance benefits from the card itself

The miles card has its benefits, it is important to note that there are some drawbacks to consider! One of it is the fact that miles can expire and require monitoring. Additionally, it may take some time to accumulate enough miles for business or long-haul flights. However, once the miles are transferred to a KrisFlyer account, the expiry date extends for another 3 years. With proper management, the conversion fees and miles expiry can be easily managed 😄
