You heard about Yoga and Pilates. What about Barre?
Have you ever heard of it?
Barre is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body.
I have been doing Barre since 2021. I haven’t been consistent so it’s been on and off. Back then was during Covid season, so everything was virtual.
So this year, I decided to be more consistent by going to their studios.
I really enjoyed it! The burn 🔥 for every single session. The workouts are not easy haha.
I know Sg has a few barre studios. I have been going to Webarre. They currently have two studios, one at Dhoby Ghout another at Telok Ayer.
They have a few types of workouts: Fundamentals, Multi-level, HITT, Stretch & Technique.
They also had We barre on-demands which basically you can do barre workout at your own time and pace whenever u are free! I did that for half a year, really enjoy the flexibility and still get your burn 🔥
Do you know that barre is suitable for pregnant woman? They have a class for mothers-to-be! I was quite impressed so next time when I am pregnant, I definitely can join the pre-natal class.
If you love ballet inspired kind of workout or just wanna try something different from yoga and Pilates, you can try out barre!
