Being a farmers wife is…

HARD!

I’m a teacher which means I have summers off! But with my partner being a farmer…he works ALL summer.

It is so impossible to make plans or go on vacation or really do anything you have to plan in advance for. His schedule just depends on the weather. And let’s be real the forecast is usually wrong about rain…

Sometimes it’s hard to have a good attitude about it. I get frustrated that we can’t go on a summer beach vacation or make plans in advance to travel anywhere really.

I try my very best to be grateful. He has a job he loves that provides us with so many opportunities… and I get some alone time which can be good too =]
