Room Tour!

Here is a tour of my current room with some informational material!

I’ve been away at college since I moved into this house. I moved here in 2020 and then went to college a couple months later. I haven’t really gotten to enjoy this room a lot since I was never home. This room while I was in college was not “me”. It was quite the facade since I had to keep this room “appropriate” for guests who may be staying. But when I graduated, I told myself that I needed to have a space that was 100% me, and so I took most/all of the decor I have collected over four years and placed it in this room.

Most of my decor in my room I have been gifted or bought sparingly, as I cannot justify dropping a whole bag on decor (even though I wish I could). The only time I do shop for home decor is during the spooky season, which is my favorite time of year. I wish there was the decor I like year round. But from what I have noticed, is that the year round online stores that have stuff I would like, sell their products at a very high price. So I usually stay patient until the season, or I buy off of resell websites like mercari, poshmark, and even facebook marketplace.

All in all, I love my decor style. I would say it falls under “goth” decor. But it also has a more modern twist I would say. Which is why I call my style “Adam decor” because it is simply, me.
