Hey girlies! Wanted to share my recent experience trying on press-on nails because I’m so so sooo in love with them!!!! 🥹 No gatekeeping here - save this for your next nail appointment 💖

As someone who’s never tried press-on nails before, I was curious to see how they’d compare to my usual gel manicures. I had a session with Nail Lover and I can easily say these are the PRETTIEST set of nails I’ve ever had. Here’s my experience:

🌸 Choosing my nail set

They had a huge variety of designs (elegant, trendy, etc.), and various sizes to ensure that the nails fit well. I ended up going for a light summer set that wasn’t toooo “out there” 🐚

🌸 Prepping my nails & application

Before applying the extensions, they removed my old gel mani, shaped and filed my nails, and did some cuticle care to ensure that they were ready for the new set ✨

🌸 Application

The actual application was quicker than I expected. They applied each extension with glue and a UV lamp to cure it - it took less than 1min per nail 🫢

They also made sure to remove excess glue and buff the nail where needed. Overall, it was painless and turned out looking so seamless and natural (impressed!!!) 💯

This location is really convenient for all the corporate girlies including myself! The service is also very quick (under 1hr), so you can definitely come during lunch/ after work 🤭🤭

🌸 Service

The nail techs were friendly and professional - they also explained what to do if a nail falls off, how to do proper aftercare, etc., which was helpful for a first-timer like me! They also provided a complimentary tool kit with everything I need to quickly fix any mishaps (super thoughtful)

🌸 Final thoughts

I have to say, as a first-timer, it took me awhile to get used to the extensions (mainly because they were longer than usual), but I honestly just loooove them - I look at my nails and instantly feel happy 🥹🌸🩵

Though I was very kindly invited by Nail Lover for a session, this is an honest review and all opinions are my own 💭 Hope you found this insightful! 💝
