📍A brunch spot that’s ACTUALLY good 🍳🫢

If you're looking for a cozy weekend brunch, Buzzed Coffee Bar is definitely worth a visit - I dropped by for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised!! To be honest, I haven't been visiting cafes lately because I feel the quality doesn't justify the price point, but this was an exception 💭 Here's my honest review!

🍳 What we ordered

— Iced matcha latte: Can choose sugar level!! Matcha had a good flavor, no powdery texture 🍵

— Iced black: Nothing extraordinary

— Mentaiko fries ⭐️: A HUGE bowl, topped with ikura, seaweed, and a delicious mentaiko sauce - a crowd favourite 😋

— Egg on toast: Essentially egg mayo on sourdough with lotsssss of rocket. For $8, the portion was quite filling and could pass as a main for me!

— Parma burrata on toast: Nice balance between the ham and burrata, light yet satisfying

— Pesto with salmon: The pesto was fresh and not too "herbal”

— Aglio olio with tiger prawns: I didn't try this, but my friend devoured the whole thing and said it was good! 🍝

— Jammy toast ⭐️: THIS!!!!! This was another crowd favourite - it’s like your typical kaya toast, but instead, it’s a sourdough bread (with some tinge of cinnamon?)… super crispy and tasty!!!! 🤭 If you’re only ordering one thing, order this!! 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

The cafe has a bright, modern design with lots of natural sunlight, making it feel inviting yet relaxed 🍃 They also offer outdoor seating, though it can be a bit hot in the afternoon.

🍳 Overall verdict

What sets Buzzed apart is the generous portions - no skimping on ingredients here, unlike some other cafes. I really enjoyed my meal here and it’s definitely made it onto my list of cafes worth a second visit 🙌🏻

Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee or a leisurely meal, Buzzed strikes a good balance between comfort, great food, and a laid-back atmosphere. They also offer dinner, drinks, and ice cream in the evening, which I’ll definitely be back to try! 😗
