🏢🎆 Hotel review: new hotel in central BKK! 💜✨

I recently went on a girls trip to Bangkok and we stayed at one of the newest hotels in the central district. This was by far the best Bangkok hotel I’ve stayed at and would 100% recommend it due to its convenient location and close proximity to many popular shopping areas — save this for your next trip!!! ⭐️

Name: Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong

Price: ~$240/night/room (~$80/night per pax)

Stars: 4-star

🎆 Room & amenities

We got a room with 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed, which is great for 3-4 pax. The room and toilets were quite spacious and came equipped with all the essentials we needed!

What impressed me most was how modern and clean everything was (common areas, lifts, rooms, walkways, etc.) - this is something very important to me because I really cannot stand dingy places 🥲

🎆 Location/ nearby areas

The hotel’s M-floor lobby leads directly to R walk, which is walkable to many nearby places

— BTS access: 6min walk to Chit Lom (via Gaysorn Village)

— Big C: Directly beside the hotel M-floor lobby

— centralwOrld: 2min walk (directly opposite)

— Platinum & December’s: 8min walk

— Siam area: 10min walk to Siam BTS, which is connected Paragon/ Center/ Square, etc.

🎆 Common areas & amenities

The common spaces were well designed, with lots of open seating space and natural light. They had free entertainment (billiards, foosball, jenga, etc.), a bar, restaurant, library, meeting rooms, and more - they also have live band every Fri-Sun!

It’s a good place to just relax and enjoy a drink at the open areas because it’s quite cosy and yet not too overly crowded 😌

🎆 What I love about the hotel

— Overall youthful vibe! Much more contemporary and vibrant compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, which was so fun and apt for our girls trip 🧚🏻‍♀️

— Great service and friendly staff; they were prompt in assisting with all our enquiries, arranging transport, etc., and super responsive to requests via the Marriott app

— Convenient location - approved by my shopaholic friends; enough said!!!! 🙂‍↕️

Overall rating: 4.5/5

I was very impressed with Moxy and it definitely exceeded my expectations!

The only downside is that it’s not directly close to the BTS, but it’s fine because we can get our dose of Karun/ Cha Tra Mue along the skywalk 😋🤭
