Vietnam’s famous Cafe apartments 🇻🇳 #Vietnam Guide

The first café we went after we landed in Vietnam; Ho Chi Minh City was The Café Apartments overlooking Saigon River.

The whole apartment was filled with different cafes. However, the building is old and not what I expected from pictures. You are also required to pay a small amount to use the lift (SGD50cents~). This is to help maintain the lift.

Aft walking so many levels, we decided that the cafe called “the letter - Coffee and Food”.

we were the only ones in the cafe so it seems that this place is not as crowded on weekdays. There was even a guitar which they willingly let us play. The super chill ambience and vibes were perfect to go with our drinks and snacks.

I am usually not a coffee drinker but of course, when you are in Vietnam, you gotta try the coffee. The ice coffee was definitely strong yet had great flavour notes.

we also ordered iced tea was very much needed in the hot and humid weather in Ho Chi Minh City. It was cooling and refreshing and a great snack as it came with bite size watermelons.

Fries are super common in cafes everywhere, but for some reason this store just does it right. The fries were so good, we had to order it again and considered a third time but we resisted because we had to go for dinner soon.

overall, I feel like there’s not much to do here and it’s not what I expected. I won’t be back to this cafe apartments as there are many many better ones in Vietnam
