My experience seeing Hozier perform in Orlando!

Last Wednesday (May 8th) I got to see one of my favorite artists live for the first time: Hozier!!

Here are some thoughts and highlights from my experience that can hopefully help you plan ahead if you’re planning to go see Unreal Unearth!

• The concert was scheduled to start at 7:30 and we parked about an hour early! It was almost 7pm by the time we had fully entered the venue and found a spot right up against the barricade. I was pretty shocked at our luck because I thought we’d need to get there like HOURS early to get barricade.

• My Bf got us food before the show and it was not expensive at all for a concert venue! Like $12 dollars for a giant wrap (about what you’d expect to pay at a normal restaurant). They were also SO good about giving us water to pass around throughout the entire show which was very nice.

• The opener, Allison Russell, started playing right at 7:30pm. Her music was a vibe and she had the sweetest soul, definitely check it out whether or not you’re going to see the tour!!

• This was my first concert with GA/Pit admission and I was so anxious about the crowding (y’all remember AstroWorld?). Luckily the 99% of the fans were very polite and friendly and gave each other a respectful amount of personal space during the show. I ended up staying up front the whole time even though I thought I might get anxious and need to move to the back

• SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!

•There was a B stage towards the end of the set and it was a really nice break from the crowding. Everyone else flocked the B stage but most of us closest to the barricade took the opportunity to spread out and Dance!!

• I was extremely pleased with the set list, he played most of my favorites and there was a good mix of songs from every album. He pretty much played all his greatest hits!

• After the show we went to check out the merch and they were sold out of most of the cheapest items (pins, tote bags, etc) but had a ton of the apparel left including a really rad denim jacket. Merch prices were pretty standard for a concert. I paid $45 for the T-Shirt you see on the cover slide!

Overall the experience was 100000000000/10 and absolutely exceeded my expectations. If you have the chance to see Hozier live I HIGHLY recommend, his vocals are simply unmatched and it was honestly a spiritual experience for me 😭✨🫶
