MAINE a mini guide ✨

On our recent Roadtrip we spent 3 nights and 4 days in Maine camping.

Need to knows:

• We stayed in Blackwoods Campground in Acadia. The campground was amazing, and only a ten minute walk to the coast and that’s where we went stargazing and watched the sunsets.

Day 1: We arrived in the evening and set up camp and then watched the sunset and star gazed.

Day 2: We woke up early that morning and watched the sunrise from the coast before heading off to find some trails. The first one we did was Jordan Path to the South Bubble trail. We drove around and stopped at lookouts and some little lakes and such before stopping for some blueberry pie. We then did the Great head trail before going back to the campground for dinner and more stargazing.

Day 3: We woke up again early this morning and started with the Precipice Trail. DISCLAIMER: precipice is not for everyone, it’s extremely strenuous and involves using iron rungs on open cliff faces, if that’s not for you beehive trail is the suggested alternative. It took us a few hours and then we drove around park loop. To finish off we got tickets to go to Cadillac mtn for sunset and start gazing there.

Day 4: We left around 10 and then headed to Bar Harbor where we got breakfast at the Cafe This Way and got some things to take home to family. We then left and stopped at Portland Head Lighthouse and got some Gelato before heading to our next stop.
