My Savannah/Tybee Trip, why you should go✨👇

Me and my best friend since middle school went to Savannah and Tybee island this summer as a low key girls trip. We stayed for four days and everyday was jammed full of stuff to do, here are my suggestions, and just the highlights of what not to miss. I hopefully will go back one day it’s a beautiful city and beach. We stayed at an Airbnb right between the two it was wonderful!

🍕Fannie’s: A diner and bar on Tybee island. The food was amazing, but I think what made it this way was the people. I have never, in all my travels, ever encountered people as nice as the ones that worked here. The key lime pie here is 10/10 too.

🪦Bonaventure: This vast cemetery was so beautiful. I went to see bird girl, and found out that it was moved, but the drive through this cemetery was beautiful before it rained us out. My only regret from the whole trip is that I didn’t see the famous bird girl.

🚢River Street: There is a lot of cute shops and such on this road if that’s what your into. I just loved walking next to the river and seeing all the cargo ships come in. It was absolutely mesmerizing.

🐣Two cracked eggs: Hands down best breakfast I’ve ever had. I crave the peach French toast and the perfect bacon every single day. It’s easily where I would go every single day if I ever went back.

🍦Leopalds: This is a classic ice cream joint that you just have to go to. I went when they had their peach ice cream and it was to die for. 10/10.

🍵Glazed and confused: This pottery place we just happen to run into in Tybee was perfect. You paint your own ceramic pieces and they mail them to you when your done. Worth the experience.

🪦Colonial park cemetery: This cemetery is very interesting. Not only do people claim it’s haunted, but the gravestones are inscripted with some very interesting phrases.

⛪️The Cathedral of St.John: This was unimaginable. When you go inside it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen. It’s so beautiful and everything is perfectly worked out.

⛲️Forsyth: You have to go to this park and walk. The fountain is beautiful. Not only the fountain, but the trees, the walkways, the various flowers, and the garden in the old building. It’s such a surreal place.

The only things I will note about Savannah and Tybee is that the cost of living is way higher than most places, do not underestimate how much it will be. Most meals were about $20, but we saved money by getting groceries and only eating out once a day. Meaning towards free sights and parking central to multiple things also helped keep cost down!
