Th Reading List Review

𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚜 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚜𝚞𝚌𝚑 𝚊 𝚠𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚠𝚊𝚢 𝚘𝚏 𝚋𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚙𝚎𝚘𝚙𝚕𝚎 𝚝𝚘𝚐𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛.

i adored this book and wanted to embrace and carry it around with me forever simply to have the memory of it. such an interesting concept where the whole story is centered on a "reading list" of eight great novels that we've all heard of and have undoubtedly read at least one of. [sec slide is my own “reading list” hehe]

so everyone who came across the list has learned from it and picked up some new knowledge along the way. Aleisha, an introverted girl, and widower Mukesh, the two main protagonists, start reading the books on the list and become friends as a result. also, they are able to establish friendships with some individuals, particularly their family members, that they otherwise would not have been able to.

it’s a story that explores a variety of aspects, including connection, the value of libraries, friendship, and grief. it’s true that this book is about books, but there are deeper meanings hidden within the pages, and it's done superbly. The Reading List portrays nicely how reading can bring people closer together and allow us to learn more about ourselves, as the narrative says "𝚂𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚜 𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑 𝚞𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜. 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝚞𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚍; 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚍𝚘𝚗’𝚝 𝚑𝚒𝚍𝚎 𝚒𝚝."
