make chicken piccata w me 🍋🫶

I absolutely love all things lemon! This is the way my mom taught me to make it and it’s super simple and tasty. I’m not a fan of capers, so if you normally have it with them in, do your thing!

🌸 I used a whole bag of lemons for this one, but you can use as many as your heart desires. For me, I use a lot because it can dry out quickly but that may be because I have chicken anxiety and always over cook it.

🌸 simply combine a bit of flour & lemon pepper, I have a big grinder of it from Sam’s club! Whisk together and coat your uncooked chicken in the mixture.

🌸 cook the chicken on lower heat so it doesn’t burn too quickly, and once it is almost ready to remove, turn down the heat more and carefully add some lemon juice on top. It tends to burn up as you pour it in so I do a little bit at a time!

🌸 this time I only had spaghetti noodles on hand, but typically I use angel hair for this! Cool the noodles while the chicken cooks. Then remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. After draining, add the noodles to the pan with the left over lemon juice from the chicken and toss with more juice.
