So how did we go to Greece for under $2,000 a couple for 10 days? Well....
I am not a savvy travel hacker by any means so stacking rewards is not my Forte; however, I did use a LOT of credit card rewards for this trip and we utilized Airbnbs to save on stays and meals. Also taking the busses and ferries to hop around the islands or between island was a big cost saver.
✈️Athens
Days: 2 (one to start and one to finish)
My favorite thing to do: Street Shops/Market, Acropolis
Where to Eat: We fell in love with a little brunch place called Plakaki. So good and such a sweet owner
✈️Santorini
Days: 3
My favorite thing to do: Hike from Fira to Oia, it's about a 6 mile hike but completely worth the views and culture you experience along the way
⛴️Paros
Paros was a much calmer city away from the major tourism but probably not for long
Days: 2 (Plenty)
My favorite thing to do: Rent a boat and see the Blue Lagoon and cave of antiparos
Where to Eat: We ate at a local restaurant called Coffee Time every night. We loved the food. price and local feel
⛴️Mykonos
My favorite of the 3. Mykonos is known for being the party city but we didn't experience any of the night life and I still loved it
Days: 3
My favorite thing to do: We took one day (My bday 🎂) and took the bus to Psarou and beach hopped. from the bus stop you xan walk to at least 6 different beaches that are all very unique or pick one and enjoy the cabanas.
