save this for your next day trip to jb :D
1. the founderโs cafe
my favourite cafe in jb so far! it is an industrial themed cafe with a really pretty interior and great ambience. they claimed that they have the โworldโs best bagelโ so we decided to try their smoked salmon bagel and it was delicious ๐คค they have interesting choices of drinks too ~ (secret garden is a minty lime drink and red poison a cherry tomato mocktail) overall, i would definitely return again in the future! 9/10

2. mollylicious bakes
y2k grunge themed cafe with a cool interior but quite limited seats. the space was decorated nicely with many photo ops like the famous ribbon wall but still felt a little empty to meโฆ for the food, the puppy cake (brownie covered with whipped cream) was reallyreally cute and yummy! the drinks were pretty meh and overpriced imo. staff are v friendly but the service was a little slow and it took over half an hour for the cake to be served. we could have caught them on a bad day but overall i wouldnt go again :( (sorry!) 6/10

3. dโ cafe
nice gardeny vibes, we sat under the glass ceiling and the lighting was rly nice! they offer quite standard cafe foods like eggs benedict and big breakfast which were pretty basic but still yummy (&& great price)! one of the better ones out there :D worth a try 8/10

4. rowan & parsley
a 2 story rustic old library kinda theme cafe. we went on a rainy day so it was quite the vibes :D definitely one of the prettiest cafes iโve been to. saw many good reviews about the food so i had expectations going there but tbh i found the food quite disappointing :( the little brother benedict with pulled pork was pretty decent but the pasta wasnโt anything special. overall i think itโs still worth a shot! perhaps the dinner menu would be better than the brunch one we had ~ 7/10
