If you’re into vintage and retro furniture like myself then you definitely are familiar with lucite and acrylics. Lucite is awesome whenever you come across it while vintage shopping you know you have to buy it.

Not only is acrylic vintage furniture (tables, chairs, desks) awesome; but acrylic accessories are also awesome.

Canal plastics is a lucite lovers dream! I lived in nyc for 7 years and finally made it to the store. At canal plastics they will cut acrylic for you in any shapes and sizes you want and also assemble it into furniture for you.

I will be coming back to get some furniture made but today I was just shopping for Knick knacks!

I found some awesome little lucite bowls I am going to buy for candy, jewelry, make up and other knick knacks. I also found some great acrylic spheres and cubes I am going to buy for decoration and also to hold my make up brushes.

Next time I come I will be prepared with measurements and ready to buy more! This will be awesome from my retro NYC apartment.
