instagram poses for 1!

i don’t know about you guys but i love posting on instagram. the big problem i’m always fighting is not looking too awkward or avoiding the same pose every time… so here are some of my fav poses i use to mix things up!!

1. look away + smile- this is such a classic but is also sooo easy!! tell your friend, mom or whoever is taking your pictures to take a million and start looking all over. don’t forget to smile!! this makes them much more natural and fun

2. hand on hip- also a classic but can be awkward sometimes. because of that i like to add a little head tilt and step to make it seem more natural

3. seated (to the side)- this is such a good way to show off an outfit while changing up your poses a little bit. just make sure your camera is to the side enough to get the whole outfit and lean on the table! the leaning just makes it less awkward and helps you show off your jewelry

4. look back at the camera- this is also such a simple way to make your picture seem much more candid. like the first one, just have your photographer take a bunch of pics and start turning different ways! it sounds dumb but i promise you’ll get the pic you want!
