## Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp
### Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Cooked rice or pasta, for serving
### Instructions:
1. **Prep the Shrimp**: Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
2. **Cook the Shrimp**: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
3. **Make the Sauce**: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 2 minutes.
4. **Combine and Serve**: Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the shrimp are heated through. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using) and chopped parsley.
5. **Serve**: Serve the shrimp over cooked rice or pasta, spooning the sauce over the top.
