How to make a *healthier* alternative to Oreo McFlurries using minimal ingredients. View my additional notes below for more tips.
Ingredients:
• Oreos
• Greek yogurt
• Honey
• Vanilla Extract
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, vanilla, and honey. Taste the mixture. Add more honey and vanilla to your liking.
2. Chill in a freezer for 30 minutes to an hour.
3. After chilling, move Greek yogurt mixture to a blender. Crush a few Oreos into the blender as well. Blend. Add more Oreos as desired.
4. If the mixture is too thick as you blend, you can either wait a few minutes for it to melt OR you can add in a small amount of non-frozen, refrigerated yogurt or milk. If you do this, you may need to add more honey to increase the sweetness.
5. Transfer McFlurry to a cup or bowl. Crunch an Oreo on top. Enjoy!
Additional notes: alternatively, you can use pre-flavored vanilla Greek yogurt and skip step 1. Additionally, you can substitute honey for granulated sugar.
