Italy is a must-visit for food enthusiasts, and despite our initial reservations due to limited choices in Switzerland, Italy surprised us pleasantly.

Our highly anticipated dinner at Tenuta Torciano’s New Year’s Eve Dinner, part of our 4-day package, exceeded expectations. The 5-course meal, each paired with their own vineyard's wine, made the 5-hour duration perfectly enjoyable with live music and continuous wine pouring. My favorites were the sea bream fillet and the grilled beef, making it a romantic way to welcome the new year. Secure your reservation for this unforgettable experience!

In Rome, amidst the tourist hustle, we relied on local recommendations for dining. At Ristorante Dillà, recommended by Prada sales consultants, I savored the most incredible carbonara, perfectly al dente. Our impromptu visit to Trastevere led us to Le Levain Roma, a charming local café praised on Google reviews, where we enjoyed a delightful breakfast of pastries.

Craving caffeine, we stumbled upon Casa and Bottega, a cozy coffee shop where Abbey enjoyed a coffee, and I discovered the best tiramisu of my life, gratefully served by the owner. As per Prada's suggestion, we couldn't resist trying a porchetta sandwich, Er Buchetto - a local favorite, on our final night in Rome, concluding our vacation on a high note.

Italy truly is a paradise for food lovers. Before visiting Rome, research the best restaurants or take our approach: ask your hotel receptionist or sales consultants for their local dining recommendations to avoid tourist traps. Bon appétit!
