🚨 located right beside MRT - Folk Yard Cafe

Are you a bread lover? If yes, then this’ the cafe for you! Folk Yard serves sandwiches and drinks in the day and then switches up their menu to pizzas and alcohol in the night 👀 A true vibey and cool place imo! Pricing wise, they’re just priced averagely like any other cafes in Singapore.

Here’s what we tried:

🥪 Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich - must try! tasted a tad bit like macdonalds’ buttermilk chicken burger but with an additional taste of curry LOL the shokupan, prolly butter coated, was real fluffy and nice! portions of chicken and coleslaw were decent too

🍞 Miso Mushrooms - was a lil confused by this when first served because i was like WHERE THE MUSHROOMS AT?! but ye, they were hidden beneath the pile of rockets 🤡 mushrooms were tad bit towards the saltier side but i enjoyed them nonetheless. would’ve been better if the portion for mushrooms was bigger tho.. we were lacking mushrooms to go with every slice of that sourdough 😫 sourdough was just so-so because i honestly didn’t pay attention to it hahah all my attention was on the mushrooms but i’d say it went very well with everything!

🥗 Fried Brussels - hands down my favourite dish out of all LOL it’s just a side dish but it slapped so hard 💯 they were so well packed with flavour and the crispiness was just right 🤤 10/10 would recommend

🥃 Iced Mocha - am more inclined towards sweeter mocha and ones with a subtle caffeine taste so this wasn’t really it. the caffeine overpowered the chocolate so i barely tasted any of that chocolate. i’m also guessing the chocolate used was less sweet than the ones used in mochas i’ve tried elsewhere

This cafe’s definitely worth a visit! Staffs are really friendly and chill + the entire space’s very cozy too! Seats are limited so it’s advisable to visit during off-peak hours 👀
