Candy Cane Rainbow

This is the cool activity you need for that weird time between the Christmas & New Years haze where your kids are home or getting ready to go back to school & no one knows what day it is. There’s remnants of gifts & left over candy everywhere as we come down from the holiday high. What better way to use it than creating something that will capture your kids’ attention?

it’s quick, easy & virtually mess free and it’s a great way to get rid of extra candy you don’t want hanging around.

Step1: Pour boiling water into heat safe dish on top of candy canes

Step 2: Within roughly 10 minutes have your kids watch & observe for the transformation. Have your kids try to name all of the colors they see as the rainbow starts to form! After about a half hour, the candy cane will completely dissolve all together!
