Grab your little elves & make this ornament!

Full disclosure, I’m a pediatric OT who runs tummy time classes & helps little babies spend time on their belly. I needed to make a bunch of shaker toys & ornaments as a keepsake & toy for my tummy time class so I recruited my 2 little elves at home to help.

I knew they would jump at the opportunity because kids are motivated by being little helpers. They love to feel confident & capable. They love to be part of something that their parents are passionate about.

They also get the chance to work on a ton of valuable & useful skills like:

👌🏻using their little fingers to work on pincer grasp to grab the fillers & Pom poms

👌🏻Screwing/unscrewing lids

👌🏻feeling & exploring different textured materials

👌🏻Problem solving
