🌸 SAVE THIS for your next trip to Korea 🌼

If you’re too early for cherry blossoms, which only start blooming in April, fret not! Come for the plum blossoms and Sansuyu festival!! It’s equally pretty and most importantly, their plum ice cream and plum tea is daebak!! 👍🏼💯 I bought home a few bottles of plum tea and liquor back HAHA if only I can dabao the ice cream too 😩 the village is pretty small, just follow the arrows and walk 1 round you’ll be done, but lot of nice photos you can take there!!

I didnt go for the Gurye Sansuyu festival, but if you’re coming from Busan, which is much nearer to both festivals, I highly recommend yall to go too, since you can only see these flowers in March only 🌸🌼😍

Jeonju must-dos & places to go:

- eat their bibimbap

- rent a hanbok

- try a traditional tea ceremony

- jeonmang cafe (overlooks the village)

- cafe masirange (level 2 have nice photo spots)

- cafe cha kyung

- jeondang cathedral

- haru film

- PNB choco pie

- gyodong croquettes (lots of unique varieties)

I booked this tour on Klook and our tour guide was v nice and offered us free ice creams at the maehwa festival & before letting us walk in Jeonju by ourselves, he brought us around the village, recommending all of us all the good food. Honestly the food here I think are more unique that you cannot rly find elsewhere in Korea and they all taste good, highly recommend yall to just come here to chill and enjoy all the good food here!!

From Seoul, the journey is v far - abt 4hrs? but the bus is v nice to sleep in hahha and saves us alot of time from public transportation. But if yall wanna travel via train/bus, feel free to do so so yall can spend more time in each location and travel to nearby cities like Gwangju or Busan!
