MUSIC FESTIVAL| festival hair & face sticker guide

It's the festive season, and what better way to feel festive than to get your hair done and indulge in a little makeover? As mentioned in my previous post, in this post, I'll go into more detail regarding where I bought my face stickers and where I had my hair done.

👩🏻‍🎤Starting with hair!

Initially, my friend and I were deciding on getting our hair done at Far East Plaza since they have a lot of shops that do hair extensions and hairstyles. But we ended up going to Bugis Street to try our luck since we needed to find face stickers as well. After enquiring about the prices, the shop that offers the best price is the one on the top floor. We paid a total of $50 (Braid - 2 people for $40, Hair Tinsels - $2 per strand). We were looking for festival hairstyles and decided on braids as we wanted to keep our hair away from our faces during the festival. We went for reverse braids (3D braids) at the top to give the illusion that our hair is popping out and fishtail braid at the bottom. Compared to the reference picture we provided them, we thought they did a pretty good job! We were super satisfied with our braids! If you are looking for simple hairstyles I recommend doing space buns, they are simple and most importantly really cute!!

💎For face stickers,

Initially, I bought them on Aliexpress for about $1.80 each. However, it took about 1 month to arrive and was too late for ZO. In the end, I went to Bugis street level 2 to get the face stickers, which costs about $6 each. Bugis is definitely more expensive and there are limited designs. So, if you are planning to buy them online, do make your purchase early! One pro tip for putting on face stickers would be to blot your face before putting it on. This will allow the sticker to stick better!
