Shanghai: Train to Suzhou? ❣️

Hello zesties 🍋

Here is how you can easily book your train ride from Shanghai to Suzhou! I travelled from Shanghai to Suzhou in 30mins! Very easy to book, convenient and affordable!

Things to note there are three railway station (seen in picture 7) but i am not very sure about the shanghai west, which is very accessible via their MRT:

1. Shanghai Hongqiao （虹桥火车站）

2. Shanghai (上海站）

and for suzhou there is Suzhou and Suzhou North. I took from Shanghai railway station to Suzhou railway station (picture 4).

The price difference for the tickets is also due to the seats class & timing. There are 1st class and 2nd class. As it is only 30minutes, i do not need the more comfortable & larger leg room & power socket. Right before you choose the class, there are picture for reference!

The ticket I have booked via the alipay app under the TripAir-Train (shown in picture 5) and you can select the city & timing. There are many time slots to choose from!

Things to note:

❣️ Book with your passport details & you will be able go through the e-gate.

❣️Try to reach 1 hour earlier (In case you need to go through the manual gate or walk to the different lanes)

❣️Train gate (in picture 2) will only open 15minutes prior to the time of departure

💰Damage: 82 CNY (2 way trip)

⏰ Time taken: 28minutes & 34minutes (to and fro)
