Pleiades - Greek Mythology: the seven sisters. They were the seven daughters of the Titan Atlas who was forced to hold up the sky for eternity, he was unable to protect the girls from being attacked by the hunter Orion. So Zeus turned them into stars to keep them safe.

Orion - Greek Mythology: He was banished to the sky for boasting over how many animals he could kill, claiming he could kill all of the animals in the world. Gaia, the goddess of earth, was infuriated with his claims and sent a scorpion to kill him. After his death, Zeus turned him into a constellation, along with the scorpion who killed him.
