Confess your SINS and be FORGIVEN

While searching my heart ALL week, I must confess that have idolized this person I am dealing with. The Bible states “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.”

Not only have I idolized this individual, we have been having premarital sex. We both know the end goal is marriage however we are not nearly as close to the end goal as we are still learning each other.

Another confession, I am not as heavy a people pleaser but for said person I find myself doing things to want to please that person, as naturally I am a nurturer and so is that person, but in our own way.

You know how it goes when you are trying to start out something now, in no way am I saying that I am putting on my representative, because in no way am I. I am truly being one’s authentic self as it pertains to the relationship. Said person is also a very authentic person and cares less what you think of them. (please note that I am not entering gender as I want my page to be for either gender. I am a heterosexual person that just does not want to disclose who I am).

I am still in a healing process from past relationships from childhood into adulthood. I will continue to lean into God as I know that Christ Jesus is my savior, and I will follow him on each and every day.
