Bali's Sunday's Beach Club is a beachfront paradise that offers a secluded and private location, making it a bit of a journey to get there. They're main selling point compared to other beach clubs is that they provision water activities for you to try (on a first-come-first-serve basis), but we discovered other selling points of theirs such as their delicious food and exclusive location (you have to take a funicular to get to the beach club)!

Let's get the cons out of the way first:

❗️From Seminyak, the journey there is quite long... I recall sitting on a Grab/Gojek for 1.5hours as it wound through small roads and alleys. For this reason, I'm not sure if the journey is well worth it tbh!

❗️Even after you get off your vehicle, it's not the most accessible... When we arrived at the drop-off point, we had to walk in, down a few flights of stairs to get our towel, and then take a funicular, and go down more stairs before we reached the beach club! Some of us were tired before reaching the club HAHA!

❗️The pricing for Sundays Beach Club is on the high side for a beach club at IDR 500k (~$44SGD) per person - this includes IDR 200k entrance & IDR 300k (~$26SGD) food & beverage credit. You can expect international pricing for their menu- We ordered a pizza, calamari and a sangria jug (& 1 latte) with our credits for 7 people and we were pretty much done with our food credits... if you sum up the additional amount you spend on food with the commuting fee on top, you can expect to spend quite a bit for your day's visit to Sundays.

Now for the good bits:

✨The beach club offers a private and exclusive atmosphere, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful day by the sea. It is in a pristine bay surrounded by cliffs and crystal-clear waters that offer an idyllic setting for relaxation - you have uninterrupted views of the horizon of the sea, which was a first for me. It kind of made me a bit emotional lol!

✨The food at Bali's Saturday's Beach Club is absolutely delectable. The menu features a variety of dishes, from fresh seafood to grilled meats, all of which are prepared with care and attention to detail. I particularly enjoyed their sweet potato fries and guac! Guests can also enjoy a range of refreshing cocktails, juices, and smoothies, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind.

✨Bali's Sundays Beach Club is a popular spot for water activities, with plenty of options available such as kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and snorkeling. The beach is known for its calm waters, making it ideal for water sports enthusiasts of all skill levels. Guests can also relax on the pristine white sand beach and soak up the sun while enjoying the views of the Indian Ocean.

Overall, Bali's Sundays Beach Club is an idyllic destination that offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. If its secluded location, delectable food, and range of water activities are things you don't mind paying for, definitely check it out. However, if a long/difficult commute (yes.. sitting in a grab for that long in the heat and on winding roads was actually difficult) is a major turn-off for you, give this a miss as you would end up feeling spent before you even get there.
