#lemon8diarychallenge Co-parenting is HARD as f**k all around.

Yesterday made me question if we were doing the right thing, made me wonder if I could hold on longer.

I HATED missing his first sentence. I hated not being there. We’ve been seperated since the end of Jan so this wasn’t the first thing i’ve missed, but for whatever reason this one hit hard. 😔

So if you’re just starting the co-parenting journey, just know, you’re going to be okay. It may be a rollercoaster. Some things might hit you harder than other things. But it does get easier.

The empty bed/crib doesn’t sting as much, the silence isn’t as bad over time. You start enjoying your time to yourself. Don’t get me wrong, you still miss them… but it gets easier 🫶🏼🤍
