3 tips | how i study 2 months before As 📖

Hello I am a 2022 Alevel student just finish my As and currently waiting for university to start. So just a little background abt myself I am from YIJC aka the ITE JC haha 😂 and take a hybrid subject combi as shown in P2

During prelims despite studying hard i realise that my results didn’t reflect and i assume some of you have the same problem as me😩.

So i am gonna share some studying tips i did in 2 months before As:

✅ Make a to do list on your phone or write it down on a sticky note 📝

Since i did not have a lot of time left I pen down what I have complete within the day starting from my WEAKEST topic to topics that i have lesser doubts on. I also set aside time for practice for math at least 1 hour everyday.

✅ UNDERSTAND + MEMORISING key points > Memorising blindly

I had this huge problem of memorising blindly for econs and did not answer the key points in essay questions so i constantly got a U grade. So, in that 2 months I read multiple answer keys from past year Alevel papers as well as doing outline for each questions, highlighting key points before jumping into the essay. My hard work paid off haha i managed to jumped from U —> A 😭. For Chemistry and Math UNDSTANDING IS REALLY IMPORTANT for you to score‼️

✅ Be focus when studying - 1hr studying + 10mins break

For myself my focus time is about 1hour

During that period of time i will put aside all the distractions (PHONESSS❌) and mugged on topics that I have to understand or finish tasks on my to do list. Really important to clear your mind and focus, you can always use yr phone after you complete your work ☺️☺️☺️ If some of you have difficulty putting away your phones can try to use your phone and put in on time lapse/video yourself to prevent yourself from touching the phone!
