Spent $200 SGD on breakfast | Paris

Cafe de Flore is one of the most popular cafes in Paris! It was also featured in Emily In Paris making it even more famous. But sadly, its not worth it imo ❌

I arrived at 830am & there was no queue😅 but the indoor seats were already 80% full. A queue started to form at about 9am. The cafe is quite squeezy & there is very lil space between the tables so your conversations can definitely be heard by others. The tables are also quite small so it gets a lil cramp if you order too many items🙃

What i ordered :

Ham cheese omelette 6/10 : the portion isnt that big for its price. It tastes pretty much like any other omelette is wasnt fantastic.

French onion soup 8/10 : One of the better french onion soups I've had in Paris, it also comes with bread. The top has baked cheese which goes rlly well with the soup.

Toast And Echire Butter 5/10 : this was literally just 2 pieces of bread w butter on the side. Giving it 5/10 cause the butter was delicious & sth quite expensive

Quiche 8/10 : This was really yummy, good ratio of ingredients will recommend to order this! A lil ex for the portion though

Blinis (pancakes) 5/10 : This is 2 mini pancakes, tastes the same as our Mcds pancakes🙃but smaller..

Capuccino 7/10 : its a pretty small cup for €7.60 , the only special thing would be the cafe name written as latte art.

Chocolate Special Flore 6/10 : A chocolate drink is definitely what you'll always see online. But hot chocolate in Paris tastes exactly like our Milo. This particular one was a lil thicker, it didnt require more cream as it was already sweet enough

In total for 6 pax, we spent SGD$200😩 you might think thats normal but we werent even close to being full... everything was a tiny portion. Our other meals in comparison are usually around SGD 130-170 & we walk out w a full stomach. The prices here are higher than other cafes in Paris & if you convert them to SGD, its way more than what you'll pay in SG🥲

So no Cafe De Flore is #NotForMe , its also difficult to get shots as there are people everywhere unless you are good at editing them out.
