My fave shampoos!

Did you know that you're not suppose to shampoo your hair everyday? Over shampooing washes away the natural oil & also leaves your hair & scalp very very dry. If you are the kind that has to wash their hair everyday, do use shampoo on alternate washes but always use conditioner! Do also only shampoo your scalp and avoid touching the rest of your hair.

I've been through many brands of shampoo as I had different hair concerns/colours throughout the years. Here are some of my holy grails! ✨

Olaplex No. 4P Purple Shampoo $50

This is another version of their No 4 for coloured hair. Its the same formula as the regular one but meant to reduce brass/yellowness. This shampoo isnt drying but it removes oil rlly well. My scalp always feels super neat & fresh after using it, not to mention that it works well on maintaining my colour.

Aveda Invati Exfoliating Shampoo $211

This works very well but its also pricey.. but i highly recommend this if you have srs hair issues (oiliness/hair loss). The only thing you should take note of is that this is a scalp treatment shampoo, so if you had undergone Kertain treatment before, you should avoid this. It will reduce the effectiveness of your treatment & bring back your frizzy hair. You can start using it 8-9 months AFTER.

I would say this shampoo really removes all the oil, so it should only be used 1-2x per week. Anymore, and you might find your scalp very dry.

Yves Rocher Purity Shampoo $20

Out of the 4 shampoos here, this is the best smelling one but its also the least effective. So i would recommend this for people who do not have srs hair issues but are looking for a quality shampoo. Its very easy on the hair, doesnt cause dryness & its good for sensitive scalps too.

Dr Hair by Ice's Secret - 03 Purifying & Scalp Detox Shampoo $48

I love all Ice's secret products but it is a lil small for a shampoo🥹 03 unclogs and purifies the hair follicies leaving you with fresh & clean hair! This targets itchy, oily scalps & also removes build ups. I always feel that my scalp lighter & cleaner after use.

I've come to realise the importance of haircare & how crucial it is to maintain them while we're still young. Its esp more impt for ppl like me who dye their hair often🫠😅 let me know what are your fave shampoos!! These also make good Xmas gifts!! 🎄
