this is what adhd looks like.

i know you all have been waiting on a post for a while, but it’s taken a lot (mentally) for me to post this. it’s embarrassing, but this is the reality of living with adhd. no matter how much i think i condition my mind to make “the next time/apartment” different, adhd makes it extremely hard. being cluttered (not dirty), is a trait of adhd. because tasks are not easily finished. straightening up my living room can be an all day task if i do it start to finish. so even though i have my dream apartment, it’s never going to LOOK like my dream apartment… well, never say never. but it’s extremely difficult. all of the clothes you see on the couch have been there for at least two weeks. and they’re all clean. and a majority are on hangers or folded up. i just haven’t put them in their designated spots. not because i’m lazy and not because i enjoy my place looking like this… but because of how debilitating adhd can be. i will (eventually) post a clean up video and a video explaining my adhd journey, but i can’t promise when 😂.
