I’m not going to lie, I was very nervous to take this class. The vibe of the light show, loud music, fire playlist, and instructor with high energy made this experience fun!

This 30 minute full body workout is high intensity but pretty gentle on the joints. I was wondering if 30 minutes was enough to get a good workout in because I’m used to 45-60 minute group fitness classes…30 minutes is definitely enough 😂 It reminds me of a cycling class except you don’t have the seat. The workout aligns with the music playing so luckily when the BPM drops, your workout slows down a bit. But the energy picks back up!

As a first time client, make sure that you arrive about 15 minutes prior to class time so you can get a tour of the space and a demo of your machine. Apparently, the tingly feeling in your hands during class is normal for newbies as you adjust to using the climber, it may mean you need to loosen your grip on the handlebars a bit.

In NYC, Rise Nation offers a $30 deal for your first 3 classes which is a pretty good deal to give you enough time for you to adjust to the workout and the machine.
