if you (like me) like the idea of all-day brunch, head to five oars! they do a really good steak and solid rosti. plus, i won’t gatekeep, this place has best mentaiko mac and cheese in sg 😩

💝 naga house - 14 Lor Telok, Singapore 049027

up for drinks and sandos? this cafe by day and bar by night is located within walking distance from boat quay, which makes it super convenient for those heading here for post-work drinks and a hangout with friends. i’d recommend the house-fried chicken with tamago kake gohan and flank steak sando, which came with a side of onion crisps, perfect for munching on while sipping their cocktails.

💝 dumpling darlings - 2 locations: amoy street and circular road

an OG and my ultimate fave 🫶🏼 dumplings + noodles are the best combo and they’re quite affordable too! don’t forget to reserve before heading here though, they get really crowded no matter the day

save this place for a fancier date night! this cosy nook is known for its great food and memorable drinks, perfect for first dates or intimate dinners with your partner. plus, i love the idea of sharing plates; you get to try multiple dishes at smaller portions so you have more stomach space for everything 😂

haven’t really had the chance to try out spanish food before coming here, and i’ve gotta say, this was a great first experience. everything was bomb, especially the paella, which you HAVE to get! i also love the whole ambiance here—lively without being rowdy, great for post-work date night👌🏼

if you’re in the mood for italian food, then look no further than amo! on the same street as foc restaurant, amo does great italian food. the portions are pretty big, so i’d recommend getting 1 of each just to share; a pizza and pasta, and maybe a side if you can 🤪

a lil further than cbd area, but this place is THE ultimate date night place. the candles lend a very romantic vibe to the whole place, and their food is ridiculously good. get their vodka rigatoni and margarita pizza! portions are huge tho so i’d say eat lesser for lunch to save some stomach space 😂
