best cushions for combo, acne-prone skin 🫶🏼

used to be a concealer-all-over-the-face kinda girlie, but i’ve rediscovered my love for cushion foundations 😳 sharing 2 of my faves here—suitable for dry-combo, acne-prone skin!

a recent fave, i wanted to try this out as i’ve heard a lot of good things about clio base foundations but have never gotten around to trying them out! i opted for this one instead as i do have the foundation version of the popular kill cover founwear. in terms of formula, this one is def great for everyday wear! it’s lighter, not as heavy on the skin but still has pretty good coverage, which is a priority for me 😙 the only downside is that the shade range is pretty limited, and i’m in the darkest shade for the range 🙂

got my hands on this at olive young in seoul and i love it to death! my most worn cushion and i’ll def repurchase once this runs out👌🏼 it has a rather similar consistency to laneige’s neo cushion matte (which used to be my go-to) but i’ve found that this one feels lighter on the skin, while laneige’s does tend to dry me out at the end of the day. plus the coverage on this is fantastic, i barely need extra concealer ✨ a very underrated cushion!!! linking the very set i got at oliveyoung - it comes with a mini-sized cushion that is uber cute 🥹

if you’re on the market for a new cushion, get the romand one if you want something that gives more coverage, and get the clio one if your skin tends to be on the drier side!
