How to add more color to your home

I feel that my interior style preferences and tastes are always evolving, which means that through the course of the past year a lot has changed. Lately I have become really fond of mixing and matching different colors and textures in my home. 💚💜

I know that sometimes combining many colors can feel overwhelming for many people, even though they would actually love to introduce them to their interior!

What I found really helpful at the beginning is to start small - it's much easier to start with a neutral base with large furniture in colors like gray, black, white or beige and then add colorful accessories like a cozy throw, pillows etc. Same goes for shelves, you can start with a white shelving unit and fill it with colorful trinkets! 🧚🏼💖

Another really easy way to add color that doesn't feel too overwhelming is -you guessed it- FRESH FLOWERS! Just grab whatever is in season rn ( Berlin flower shops are currently full of gladiolus flowers). Bonus points if you use a colorful vase! 🌺
