🍔AUTHENTIC & AFFORDABLE Southern fried chicken🐔

Whoever said that you can’t get good southern fried chicken for cheap in Singapore haven’t heard of Chix Hot Chicken!! They specialise in Nashville Hot Fried Chicken and most items cost less than $15 😍 Better yet, they are Halal certified!

There were literally no misses with their food. Here’s what my friends and I ordered:

The Dip- $9.90

Breakfast Scramble- $11.90

The Pepperjack- $11.90 (+ $3.90 to include fries & drink)

3 Piece Wings- $11.90

Cheese Fries- $6.50

The main star, their fried chicken was thick, juicy and well-seasoned inside and out. My only qualm was that the batter coating the chicken was a little thick but still really crisp and flavourful! I don’t know what’s in their sauce but it goes so well with the spices of the chicken too.

A surprise for me was actually their cheese fries! I feel that a side dish like fries often gets neglected but here, their fries were lightly crisp on the outside but moist and “potatoey” on the inside. Love that their cheese sauce poured over actually tasted like REAL CHEESE (tbh I’d pick these cheese fries over Shake Shack 🫢)!

Overall, I’d rate the overall taste and experience a 4/5!
