is HELLO ARIGATO worth the hype⁉️🥪

visited hello arigato’s newest outlet at bukit timah recently! this was my first time visiting any of their stores so i was pleasantly surprised by the vibe of the cafe🥰 the interior was so minimalistic and pretty, i’m a huge sucker for clean and minimalistic spaces so i really loved the atmosphere of this place. the staff were friendly and the ordering process was hassle free as well!

we ordered:

hot mocha ☕️ ($6)

- i’m not an avid coffee drinker but i felt like this cup of mocha was just right for me, wasn’t overly bitter or sweet and had just the right amount of chocolate

hokkaido milk carbonara🍝($22)

- my first few bites of this pasta was quite mind blowing because you can really taste the hokkaido milk flavor which is pretty creamy😋but after awhile it felt quite jelak and if my friend and i didn’t share the mains i think i wouldn’t have been able to finish it all by myself

chicken katsu sando 🥪($16)

- honestly i’d say the sandos are what you should come here for!! i really enjoyed the combination of chicken katsu, slaw and bread. the chicken was really juicy and the slaw balanced it out well such that you wouldn’t really get bored eating it after awhile

rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

overall i’d give this place a solid 3.5 stars ⭐️, though i’d recommend that you try the sandos over the pasta dish but that’s just for the carbonara! the experience was really pleasant and honestly most of the dishes are pretty worth your money though it can be quite expensive (>$20)
