I recently arranged a little surprise for my best friend’s birthday to go for a ring making workshop 💍🔨 We have been meaning to go for one since last year but she always felt like it was too expensive. But since it was a special day, I decided to go all out for this treat 💸

I booked a session for 2 with Artisan8 Studio . Each session lasts for 2.5hrs. just to note, there’s only 2 time slots of 1pm & 4pm to choose from 🕰️

The entire workshop went at a suitable pace for us and the lady who was guiding us (Shan) was super friendly and helpful 😇 The class size was also pretty small with 2 other couples with us which made the whole workshop feel very cozy.

We were given some introductions on the basics to ring making and got to practice our stampings during the designing phase. There were soooo many possibilities to make our pieces unique with:

- letter/initial stamping

- symbol stamping

- ring shaping

- texturing

Be sure to eat something before you come because we worked our arms way more than we expected till we ran out of energy towards the end 😅 I finally understand how much hard work and precision goes behind making every single ring. I won’t complain about silver rings being expensive anymore…🥹

At the end of the workshop, we were also given a care kit of:

- polishing cloth

- ring box

- care card

I know everyone is curious of the price 👀💰 That was another reason that made me choose Artisan8. Compared to other well known silver ring making workshops, this one fell right in the middle if $118 per pax. I’ve found other cheaper workshops during my search but after reading the workshop outlines, I felt that Artisan8 was the one that I liked and wanted to experience the most.

Everything was so carefully prepared for us, it was truly a meaningful activity 🥰 This was definitely an experience to remember and I’m super glad that my bestie had a great time making something equally special for her special day too! 🎂
