how to apply snail mucin for best results! 🦢🪞

this is probably the #1 most popular skincare product on tik tok right now and has been for the last couple months. i see a lot of tik toks saying they were using snail mucin wrong, or just comments on those tik toks saying that it didn’t work as well for them and i thought i would make a “how to” guide for it! the cosrx snail mucin quickly became a fave in my skincare routine because i have dry skin and it really helps my skin feel super hydrated!

STEP 1: apply on damp skin!

this is probably the most important because you need damp skin for it to work. to be honest, it’s probably better for you to do this with every step in your skincare routine. by dampening your skin first and then applying the product, you are locking in that moisture! i got the little spray bottle at walmart in the travel size section for under $2 im pretty sure. it doesn’t cost alot! you can genuinely just pat water onto your face too but i’m just extra LOL. if you wanna be super extra, you can also get thermal water! la roche posay sells a really good one. it’s also really refreshing and feels so good in the mornings.

STEP 2: gently pat it in. DO NOT RUB!

this product should be pressed and patted into the skin instead of rubbing so that it can fully absorb all the benefits!

STEP 3: apply moisturizer after!

doing this will really lock in all the benefits from the snail mucin!
